We are now half way through our first term of Educational Workshops at King Alfred School in Burnham-on-Sea,

This term we are running our Drug workshops with the Year 10 Students giving information about what drugs are, what they do and looking at the consequences of taking drugs. The Workshops include discussing the facts about drugs, looking at the drugs in the drugs box* in groups and volunteers sharing their experiences and answering students questions about drugs, using, addiction and recovery.

We’ve had great feedback so far and would like to take this opportunity to thank the Volunteers who have helped make this possible including Max, Lee, Ellen, Antony, Ciara, Rich, Angie, Vicky S, Dylan, Barry, Sue and Ali and of course to thank the Staff and Pupils of King Alfred School for giving us such a warm welcome.

We are all looking forward to the rest of the Drug workshops and to continuing the Educational Workshops in the new academic year. Up and Coming Topics include; Alcohol, Relationships, Smoking, Eating Disorders and many more.

If you have any suggestions, feedback or would like to request us to facilitate the Educational Workshops at your group/school/organisation please contact us!
