King Alfred Concert Band Fundraiser

On 23rd June The King Alfred Concert Band played their annual concert raising funds for Somewhere House Somerset.

The event was really well attended and the band, fantastic with some real talent performing on the night!

There was a raffle and cake sale and all told the event raised over £400.

A huge thank you must go to the band themselves, Dee Cornish & Vicky Simmons for arranging the evening and St Andrews Church for hosting the event in the church . Plus of course, all those who baked cakes, attended and supported our charity.

Thank you all!

The Sky Dive Was Successful!

Hi All

We’re proud to announce that the recent sky dive undertaken by Angie & Dave (plus a few other brave souls) was successful and all are back safely on planet earth from 15000 feet! That’s not to say that it was an enjoyable experience for all but it was done in the name of charity and many thousands were raised. Pics to follow! Thank you to all that supported them on the day and donated to this worthwhile cause.

Without your support, none of this would be possible and the good work of Somewhere House Somerset continues to go from strength to strength. Thank you all!
