On Fathers Day this year, with the support of St Andrew’s Church, we held our first recovery service at the church. This coinciding with the end of the recovery art exhibition which was displayed in the church throughout June.

The event was so well supported by everyone and special thanks to the clients of Somewhere House for their participation. One of the staff there, Rob, also spoke to the congregation about celebrating recovery and what it means to him. Our now legendary cake sale was also a huge success afterwards and a big thank you to everyone who attended, supported, donated and ate….cakes! We raised just under £200 for the charity. Amazing!

A big thank you must also go to St Andrews Church for their continued support. We really appreciate it.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about loving others — it’s about loving yourself too. ❤️
Your mental health matters.
Be kind to yourself.
Take breaks when you need them.
Ask for help when things feel heavy.
And remember — you are enough, exactly as you are.
Today is a reminder that self-care isn’t selfish, it’s essential. 🌿
If today feels difficult rather than joyful, you’re not alone. Your feelings are valid, and support is always there.
